“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I'll meet you there.”
(Rumi, 13th century)
When we desire more peace, we are really seeking peace and harmony within ourselves. This peaceful way of being, reflects alignment with the broader consciousness that moves through us and all beings. This is our true nature.
We can cultivate peace through practices that support our expanded awareness, such as meditation, yoga, dance, other movement practices, spending time in nature, music, gardening, really any practice that we love, and that invites us into a deeper state of presence.
As we cultivate peace we expand our awareness and broader understanding of all things. We dissipate and release old mental patterns of competition, of criticism and judgment, of "right and wrong", "good and bad" thinking, which serve to separate and alienate ourselves and others, and perpetuate patterns of violence on earth.
Peace invites us into a compassionate heart space, towards ourselves and all others. Peace also invites us to practice forgiveness, all the time. We see then that we all share similar needs - for well-being, for freedom, for expression, and for connection in harmonious ways.
We are creating a new earth friends, one where we live aligned with the source consciousness that moves through us and all beings, and feels like peace, joy, appreciation, and unconditional love. Let us play together in the spirit of peaceful and friendly community, cultivating peace within ourselves and with all beings.
Enjoy a path of peace friends.
love and namaste, Irena
